This was one of those nights that I wish I could re-live. Join me as I do..  It was jam packed with amazing moments. Luckily, many of the 1100 people at the FIllmore had their phones out, recording the once-in-a-lifetime moments. Including me!

Guaranteed Fire Whenever Y & T Come Home

Being a local band, Y & T has some longtime fans in the Bay Area and any show in the area brings a good sized, veteran crowd.  Meniketti always says how happy he is to be home! The lovefest was in full bloom at the Fillmore. The setlist had all the bangers on it. It was a great night!

Space Cowboy Lands in SF

That’s where I stood with Steve Miller, he was a hitmaker with a sweet guitar sound. I think I learned a lot more about Mr. Miller on this night at the Fillmore. A new appreciation of the man as he worked through hits as well as wowing the crowd with his guitar work.

I Came To See A Mexican But Heard African

On May 17th, 1995, the author celebrated his 19th wedding anniversary before attending a Santana concert. The opening act, Linda Tillery and The Cultural Heritage Choir, left a lasting impression. The concert poster was a classic featuring Carlos Santana. The intimate experience showcased Santana's playful and encouraging demeanor towards his bandmates.
